Yellow Toadflax

Biological Control Agents

With only a few, very small infestations of this weed in Fremont County we are working on the eradication of yellow toadflax.

An introduced weevil, Gymnetron antirrhini, that causes a decline in seed production is wide spread across the state and infests the yellow toadflax found in Fremont County.

For more specific information on Gymnetron antirrhini, visit Cornell University's Bio-control website.
