The Bus Leafy Spurge Treatment – 323 acres

Goals for this project include: 

  • Improve the health of land infested with leafy spurge and cheatgrass.
  • Reduce the risk of leafy spurge and other weed spread from roads, borders, and recreational trails.
  • Address long-standing public concerns about land health in this area.

Treatment will take approximately 4-6 hours and is tentatively planned to take place the week of August 31, 2026. Treatment areas should be avoided during application and until spray has dried after treatment (approximately 4 hours).
